For example i spent around $700 once just to plan a surprise birthday
party for my girl when she was 19. Chalet, 101 balloons and gifts.
Everything included amounts to around 700SGD.
I had a friend who spent 500 bucks for his girl too, he had bought
jewelery and went to learn how to bake his own cake and surprises for
his girl on his birthday.
Ever wondered how much you are willing to spend for surprising your
loved ones?
What will you do to surprise him/her?
Do you think i was stupid in spending so much? LOL
It's cliche, but it's the thoughts that count...not how much you spent..

I've spent $5000 a day on my wife who was my previous gf...that's the maximum amount so far that I've spent while we were dating.. Generally, while we were dating, we would go out every weekends and a few times during weekdays; spending $1000 + a month was a norm on meals.
If you regret spending the money on your loved one, then don't spend and ruin your feelings for the relationship.

+1... totally agree...
If u spend money and u expect something in return, it's not love... it's either gambling or trade...
Wah lau eh, your gf only worth 700 bucks including the chalet booking. Geez. Just kidding lah.
For me, its all mutual understanding. My gf would prefer cold hard cash over fancy things like flowers and such. I signed 2 supp cards for her monthly expenditure. She knows her limits lah.

Different gals have different attitudes towards gifts and stuff...

Boys are the same, its like marketing, know your target audience...
anyway, its all in the pass.Sometime, its just stupid to go the extra mile to feel the pinch to spend on the person.
