From my vast experience talking to chickens, fried chickens normally do not talk alot so for them to call out to you is pretty rare. The only 3 recorded occurrence where fried chicken was heard talking were way back in 1956, 1975 and the latest in 1997. And in those 3 cases, they never uttered more than the same 2 words, Whats more worth noting is that the language is which they uttered those words are not in English, more like a middle eastern language or dialect.
I would suggest that what you heard today was not the Fried Chickens but instead it was the The Chye Sims who are very good at simulating other voices pretending as the fried chickens to call them to eat the chickens cos they were afraid you would choose to eat the chye sims instead.
