Synopsis
The international hit show Menopause The Musical ® comes to Singapore for the first time for a limited engagement from 6 – 21 February 2009 at the DBS Arts Centre – Home of SRT.
After this hilarious comedy celebrating women and “The Change”, menopause will no longer be “the silent passage”! Set in a department store where four women – Professional, Housewife, Hippie Earth Mother and Soap Star with seemingly nothing in common meet by chance fighting over a black lace bra, this musical brings you through their menopause experiences such as hot flashes, night sweats, memory loss, chocolate binges, not enough sex, too much sex and more. Lighthearted and extremely entertaining, the 90-minute laughter-filled celebration is beyond your ordinary light-hearted musical and is inspirational for all who attend!
A joyful parody with chart-toppers such as “I Heard It Thru the Grapevine You No Longer See 39” (I Heard It Thru the Grapevine), “Puff, My God I’m Draggin” (Puff, The Magic Dragon) and the disco favourite “Stayin’ Awake!
