OK for SAF soldiers to use travellator while doing prowler duty at airport?

This is the first time STOMPer Random Sights spotted NSF men making use of the airport's travellator to carry out their prowling duties. He wonders if this is appropriate.
Says this STOMPer:"Was coming back from lunch when we sighted the regular NSFs performing their prowling duties.
"This is the first time we've encountered them using the travellator instead of the pathway beside it.
"Just wondering if their action was appropriate?"

its because of people like this hor our nsmen have to suffer more. Want to ask this question need to take picture meh? Y cannot ask without taking picture. Expose the sian ppl who are just trying to get the job done and make them suffer more sia. Most likely coz of this the ppl there will need to wayang more now. This is y SAF wayang army only sia. Do things for show only

I see both sides of the coin....
On one hand, it makes for more efficient use of energy and allows the prowlers to cover a greater area in a shorter period of time.
On the other hand, if there is an emergency in the opposite direction (i.e. behind them), they cannot react fast enough. They would have to climb over the side of the travellator to respond.
So..... I don't know. I just think that it's dumb to take photos of the prowlers.

They are supposed to crawl, crouch, and dash from pillar to pillar. And point their carbines at the forehead of the stomper. Then only stomper will be satisfied with the level of security at the airport.

people who do such things aren't those who don't know the system. they're those who've been through it and suffered from it and are not venting it on someone unrelated just to get a kick out of it.

Airport staff are allowed to use the travellators when
- We are assisting other passengers.
- There are very little passengers. (Not like after an arrival 200-500 people kinda thing.)
This travellator is the one above the MRT station that links T2 and T3. It is very wide and always under-utilised. So, YES, they are allowed to use it. Screw STOMP and citizen journalism aka voyeurism.

if the person posted it without pics, most will come out with "NPNT", they do with pics, kanna flame also. Left, right, also kanna.
Most of us who do guard duties before knows, we do not prowl the whole night, we rotates with other groups so we get our rest too.
To be objective, these guys when doing their duties should do it dilligently, especially in public, not in the camp where there is some cover.Also, in a place, where there is aircon, bright lights, nice surroundings, still want to 'makan-snake', a bit too much la.
Worst case scenarios, something happens, and they are spotted on the travellor and having trouble reaching the area, what then?
Nothing happens, no body cares, something happens, all complains, and point fingers.. Who kanna, these poor soldiers lor.
So why not just do their 2hr shift properly,then go back rest. Then nothing of such will happen lor.
