  Singtel website advertises on porn site: Why so desperate for hits?

  This online ad for inSing.com, a website run by Singtel, was spotted on a porn site by an appalled STOMPer Disgusted. He had received the screenshot in an email and wondered why Singtel would stoop so low for page hits.

   

  In an email today the shocked STOMPer wrote:

   

  "I was checking through my email yesterday (Aug 19) when I noticed this picture, forwarded to me by a friend.

   

  "Is Singtel really so desperate that they need to resort to putting advertisements on porn sites in order to get attention?

   

  "Singtel is a well-known company from Singapore. Even its name has 'Sing' in it, showing that it is from Singapore.

   

  "The ad really spoils the image of our country and should be taken down immediately. I am shocked that such a thing could happen."

  Somebody actually sent a nasty letter to the ST last Saturday I think.

   

  Go check the Life section where sometimes they print out readers' views and comments.  It was a small section in one corner.

   

  The guy commented that NDP had sunk a new low and claimed "pole dancing is pole dancing" no matter what you called it.

  I would have thought tt way abt the pole dancing.. didn't think much of it..

   

  Until I saw some of students (primary 1 level) pretending to pole dance at the school's play ground.... and was flabbergasted.... :O ... I explained to them that some of the actions were inappropriate - and they told me - but National parade also show what!
