STOMPer Cheryl was at Kew Avenue in Bedok when she witnessed this accident involving a P-plate lady driver and a motorcyclist.
The contributor hopes that the driving centres emphasise to learning drivers to watch out for motorcycles.
Says this STOMPer:
"I was jogging outside of Kew Avenue when I saw a result of an accident that took place between a car and a motorbike. The motorbike was a class two bike while the car was driven by a lady driver, apparently with the P-plate still on.
"I really hope that the driving centres emphasize on looking out for bikes and make it harder for them to pass their class 3 license so they'll treasure their license more.
"And I wish to advice all riders out there to ride as if everyone's out there to get you, a paranoid man lives the longest."Similar stories:
See lar, such a nice car, barely a few mths old only kena buang.
Feel sad for the car, not the lady.
alot of drivers don't see the logic of checking their blind spot until
1) they nearly get into an accident
2) they get into an accident
3) they are riders themselves
but from the pictures, its not a blindspot problem.
she would hit an elephant even if it was standing right in front of her 10km away.
