Disgraceful behaviour of local family of 6 on CX flight makes me ashamed to be S'porean

STOMPer LionCity was annoyed by a Singaporean family of six who were making so much noise and behaving like kids while on board a plane.

Said the STOMPer:

"This family of six was a sure disgrace to Singapore.

"On a midnight flight from Hong Kong to Singapore on July 14 2009, they were restless from take off in Hongkong to landing in Singapore Changi Airport.

"They were yakking and jumping non-stop, disregarding other tired travellers who were sleeping and resting on this midnight flight.

"They even jumped up and down the seats and chats across loudly to the rear family members and removed their odoured shoes and stood on the seats.

"An adult lady in her 40's misbehaved like a kid and played 'hide-and-seek' in the plane with the family members behind.

"The plane landing welcome music is overshadowed by their screaming over Changi Airport sight.

"The CX crew asked them to be seated a few times during approach landing and taxing, but they refused.

"It was quite a shame to see such Singaporeans behaving as such and be told off on international routes, simply forgetting their self respect.

"Why can't Singaporeans be more graceful?"
