  Red sports car zooms along highway -- without a licence plate

  A STOMPer spotted this red car driving along the PIE without a licence plate, and wondered why the driver had not been stopped by the traffic police.

   

  Here's what he wrote in an email:

   

  "This picture was captured along the PIE (towards Tuas) on July 3, at 1.10 pm.

   

  "This red sports car had no licence plate on.

   

  "I wonder why this was not picked up by the traffic police?"

  I ever see cars putting cardboard plates as substitute... at least better than none. This car owner is asking for trouble.

  There is a plate, can't recall what it is called. Yellow plate or blue plate?

  Dealers have it, and even some workshops. It is hung on unregistered cars so that it can be moved from Point A to Point B on public roads.

  Stomper should have checked out  the front of the car.

  Probably for export, move from one point to the other only. There are a bunch of cars parked outside AIG workshop along ubi road, all no licence plates. Stomp that.

  YOu din see LKY or LHL inside the car. Perhaps their window is tinted too dark. They kena camera also nvm. Paying to the LTA or TP is equal to paying themself.
