  Fire at Rivervale Walk carpark. Was foul play involved?

  

  

  A fire broke out at Rivervale Walk multistorey carpark. Hearsay has it that it was caused when a motorcycle was set on fire.

   

  Here's what STOMPer Ivan wrote in an email today (June 29):

   

  "A fire broke out at Rivervale Walk multistorey carpark at about 6:30 pm.

   

  "These pictures were taken from an apartment opposite the carpark.

   

  "I saw an ambulance with paramedics rushing to help but I didn't see anyone injured.

   

  "I heard people saying that it was a motorbike that was set on fire.

   

  "The SCDF took less than 10 minutes to arrive at the scene."

   

  A spokesperson for the SCDF had the following comments:

   

  "The fire involved one motorcycle, and was extinguished using an internal hosereel.

   

  "No one was injured.

   

  "SCDF investigations are ongoing."

  Thank goodness no one was injured.
