Love at first sight.
I believe most of us, had fall in love at first sight b4, coz all of us not young liao... Oops (*sotongs prepare to shield himself from attacks from everywhere*)
Guys would say,"I'm going to choose her."
Gals would say,"Oh please choose me."
Some people would say, love at first sight can only be short-term. To some extend it is true, but not always.
I believe most of you had come across of friends who had a relationship for about 6 months and get married and they have a happy family.
I also believe most of you had come across of friends who had a relationship for many years, but get married and end up in divorce.
The most important senses that play a part for this Love at first "sight" of coz is your eyes. Some sayings, that the eyes is link to your heart. Chinese saying, "yan jing shi ling hun 1zhi 1chuang" not 4zhi 1chuang hor...that one is at your butt.
Your eyes never lie. I believe most of you can tell whether a person likes or don't like you by looking into his, or her eyes. It is not 100% accurate, but it is a good gauge.
Guys have the most powerful tools to use over a girl, that is the mouth. Guys who can talk very well are often very popular with girls.
Ladies have the most powerful tools to use against man, that is their eyes. Ladies that have eyes that can talk, will have lots of guys around her, not necessary to be very beautiful.

In my younger days, I do believe in love at 1st sight... but not longer liaoz...
As one grow older, we shld be wiser....
hopefully know our priorities in life...
and fine-tune our mindset to work towards our life goals (whether it is in career, BGR etc)
I believe that our criteria for our life partner will change over the years too.
Love at first sight is more applicable to the youngsters.... -
I agree with sotongs that generally...
guys must be a good talker (sweet?) in order to win lady over...
however, if the guy drives (a car)... it will also be an added advantage definitely!?
Too bad... i have neither.
I am more machine-oriented person .. spend more time talking to computer systems than human networking. It gets worse when I am with the lady I like...
In short, i am a BORING guy & dun drive car..

People in marketing/sales tend to get hitched faster.
Why?
Because they can talk.
If you have nothing in the common with the girl you fell in love with at first sight, how are you going to 'market' yourself to her?
There is more to the eye other than packaging of the product.
The best salesman in the world could sell you the rights to the moon.
Later on the buyer might discovered they are being conned and thus cheated.
Learn to know and be yourself first.
Then you would be able to 'market' yourself to the lady you like.

Well, I dun agree with you guys as to sell yourself to a gal. Doesn't mean that you can "sweet-talk" a gal, you can get her immediately. More importantly is whether you two can click or not. Love at first sight, yes it does happens but, as you grow and mature, you would not believe in such things anymore. You will tend to look for someone whom you can actually relate to.
For me, I believe that two persons must have the "chemistry", then they can then be together.

although gers like to be sweet talk, Gers can still differentiate who said it wid sincerity and who really mean it...
those "hua yan qiao yu", sometime only make gers wan to puke leh...
Love at first sight happens b'coz he/she is the "Dream" guy/ger who u have been waiting for all your life...
But U can only tell if it is "True Love" when u start to get to know one another through communication... not just by sighting...

i think diffrent people got diffrent encounter lor.
Sotong is those romantic type.. but only dare to dreams and dare to go aproach.
BM always meet those materialitic gal that hope bf owes a car and wish that he tall enough to catch a star for her.
Ah clone are those that want a woman that is truthful to herself..... a woman with charaters.
For Dina and Jany they are more relistic.. so hardly fall on first sight.
for me if i kana short by a gal at first sight but will not approach immediately. but will want to get near and know her better before step 2 approach.
previously i do want to owe a car... but the gal that i kana short discourage me of doing so... she think its expensive to owe car in singapore.....i think she is worth me spending a life time..

it is not practical to own a car in Singapore
Owning a car in Singapore is only a luxury not a necessity....
Moreover, it does not takes hours to travel from 1 place to another in Singapore and owning a car in Singapore is so expensive
Why not spend the money on something more practical or save the money for rainy days instead? :p -

though having a car is more convenient ... but then think of the amount of $$$ that will be spent on petrol, maintenance, parking (finding parking lots!?!?!) ... ERP ... :X
there are more area/things worth spending money on ... example -> ME

My 5-cents worth - Money is not everything but it does provide convienence to some extent - cars.. though not necessary attract gals but they do come in handy.. got excuse to send her home.. pick her up.. the convienence is there. But the topic here is 'love at first sight' lets not go too far..
Believe 'Love at first sight' means crush.. it does able to grow into a deeper relation but by one look.. you can't see 'thru' a person.. you can only see the appearance.. the looks.. the behaviour.. only through far longer term observation, you can know that person and develop feelings for the person.. -

Though a bit off topic here. But just something to add here. This hv nothing to do with love at first sight.
Spending on a car or other luxury is nothing bad or sinful... We all worked so hard sometimes is because we want to spend a little bit more on someone we love and something we dream to have. I believe every guys want to give the best to his wife and family. And every lady should know that your guy is trying his very best to provide the best he can afford to you. "Earn what u can spend comfortably and dun overspend what u can't earn."
Know our limits. The only good thing about going after luxury in life is, it inspires people to upgrade themselves. If everyone is too contented with what we have, we will still be living in the stone age. -

Guys who sweet talk will only manage to bluff naive young girls or older women who have naive mindsets or women who is lonely for too long and succumbs to his sweet talk. But guys who are sincere in speech n actions would mainly hang on for a longer period. but some guys can be quite boring hahaha.

Its always nice to have your own transport. Not necessary a car, a motorbike also can la, bicycle also can la haha. OOoOo imagine he send u home on bicycle.. TIAN MI MI.. lalalal TIAN MI MI haha. with a vehicle ard its definitely more convienient. argh esp now weather so hot... then sit bus squeeze with ple, then take taxi until broke la.. hahahaahah i myself would like to own a vehicle. imagine crusing down the expressway at night, so cooling.

love at 1st sight~ is upon the 1st look u fall in love... but it's just the appearance that u fall in love to... frankly speaking, even if this relationship works out, will not last long for most cases... me opinion lar... ^_^
