Champagne is making a big comeback as a hip drink among the young and trendy. If you're just getting acquainted or are thingking of trying "the bubbly", then here are a few pointers to ensure complete enjoyment!
If you have the money to spare, it's worth buying a fine Champagne. It tastes better (and experienced drinkers will swear that you don't get hangovers with better Champagnes). A decent bottle of champagne should cost $80 and above.
All true champagne comes from France's northernmost winemaking region of the same name and is made through a carefully defined process called "Methode Champenoise".
Wines that bubble like Champagne, but are made elsewhere, are called "sparkling wines". So make sure you haven't picked up a bottle of bubbly that's a sparkling wine instead of champagne.
Champagne should be stored in a cool, secure place. But donÂ’t put it in the freezer. Champagne is under a lot of pressure and could explode if frozen.
Once you open the bottle, it's easiest to serve the whole thing. Champagne doesn't keep well for too long. But there are special champagne stoppers you can buy, so don't use a regular stopper, since the Champagne is likely to push it out and even then you should drink it after a few days.

Anyway champagne is only one type of wine. There are many other types of wines like the dessert wines, fruity wines, normal table white or red wines. Appreciating wine is an art...not many people like it!!
