NCMP Steve Chia came up with a laundry list of charges which had gone up.
He said: 'Since May, refuse-collection charges have gone up. Just last week, transport fares and utilities fees have also gone up. Come September, it will be carpark charges. Then, telephone charges. Soon, more ERP. Then, night ERP. Next January, we will have GST increase. What else? And what's next?

GST up, Electronic Road Pricing up, petrol up, carpark charges up, electricity up, motor insurance up, telephone charges up, and, of course, unemployment up, retrenchment up
Morale is upside down, and so is our pay. People are not only fed up, but they are also frightened about their future.

Definately...that is why now alot of people are thinking of migrating to other countires...where life is not that stressful andthings are not that expensive!!

from $6.50 to $7.50 (Mon - Wed & Thurs b4 5pm)
$7.50 to $8.50 (Thurs after5pm - Fri b4 5pm)
$8.50 to $9.50 (Fri after 5pm - Sun)
Please take note. (especially for partor couples...)
Perhaps, it is time to consider buying VCDs and watch at home together instead.... -

It is actually a hoax... as verified by the major cinemas & broadcasted on the news on 17th July 2002.

Well i guess if movie tickets are going to increase again, then the pirated VCD vendors will be very very happy....cause they will have more business....sigh simple logic like that the government dun understand meh? Why can't they let us off abit....must really squeeze us all dry then happy?
