Double-Standard?

Guys/Ladies, do you practice 'double-standards' in life?
Eg.
[*]You are a heavy smoker/drinker and yet u expect your partner to be a non-smoker/non-drinker...
[*]You are not a virgin but you expect your partner to be one...
[*]You mix around (flirt) with the opposite sex and yet expect your partner not to ... -
okie if i tell you no it would be definately lying... Of course I do not want my partner to flirt around even when i am flirting around. This is very human...but when you flirt around or do other stuff and you know your partner is doing it even if you don't like it, you would rather keep quiet cause, this is call guilty. You are also doing things which your partner may not like. Hence I always tell myself, some things which my partner do not know may not harm them. Likewise vice versa.

If I don't like what you do,
or you don't like what I do,
Why would we be together in the first place?
Love makes one blind to many things... it's a matter of how much emphasis one place on one's self values/morals and how much one wants one's partner to follow.

Well Clone, I agree with you on certain things but when a couple are together in the first place, they believe in one thing...Love. They feel that with this they can change one another or accomodate one another. Hence although I might not like what you like or do, I can try to change you or join you...this is the power of Love my friend

I may learn to like the things which I don't like,
or see things in a difference perspective.
It is a matter of influence.
