  Electrification system changed to 750V DC from a 3rd rail located between the running rails, as OHLE proved too complicated to maintain, and caused problems with construction of smaller diameter tunnels, as there was insufficent head room.

  HCLR changed plugin again - this time, the plugin from the Chashinai Railways's 9000 Series train will be used, and as an result the trains can run in full ATO. ATC and TASC has been installed throughout the network. ATS-P and -SN will not be available as a backup system.
