yes worry and anxieties are twin evils.
humans tend to worry, esp women. when they worry, they tend to nag and let it all out.
Damn lar,
dun worry lah
Just live it the way u want it to be
if u wanna end ur life with a bang like the Terrorists, then pls do so
if u wanna be a good guy like Batman & Robin (They are gay partners, btw), then so be it
some people are regretful that they had not done enough for their loved ones... but only when they are gone...
No time for regrets ler
Move on
Make sure u dun repeat the same mistake
its the monkey mind that is the root of the problem. we dunno how to control our mind, thats why we worry. one way is to meditate, a great way to relieve stress and worry.
You guys are the rare ones. There are many out there worry about retirement and old age.
i dun know....there are moments which extend to eternity...love them this present moment while life is short....
Mistakes, regrets and wrongs... it makes us human when we are aware of it. One's action on each turn of events should be a reflection of one's wisdom on one's life. These are not burdens, but little treasures that make life worth the living. Don't dwell on the inevitabilities, work on the endless possibilities that life can be as good as it gets.
The Master does nothing,
yet he leaves nothing undone.
The ordinary man is always doing things,
yet many more are left to be done.
The kind man does something,
yet something remains undone.
The just man does something,
and leaves many things to be done.
The moral man does something,
and when no one responds
he rolls up his sleeves and uses force.
When the Tao is lost, there is goodness.
When goodness is lost, there is morality.
When morality is lost, there is ritual.
Ritual is the husk of true faith,
the beginning of chaos.
Therefore the Master concerns himself
with the depths and not the surface,
with the fruit and not the flower.
He has no will of his own.
He dwells in reality,
and lets all illusions go.
Fame or integrity: which is more important?
Money or happiness: which is more valuable?
Success of failure: which is more destructive?
If you look to others for fulfillment,
you will never truly be fulfilled.
If your happiness depends on money,
you will never be happy with yourself.
Be content with what you have;
rejoice in the way things are.
When you realize there is nothing lacking,
the whole world belongs to you.
What is rooted is easy to nourish.
What is recent is easy to correct.
What is brittle is easy to break.
What is small is easy to scatter.
Prevent trouble before it arises.
Put things in order before they exist.
The giant pine tree
grows from a tiny sprout.
The journey of a thousand miles
starts from beneath your feet.
Rushing into action, you fail.
Trying to grasp things, you lose them.
Forcing a project to completion,
you ruin what was almost ripe.
Therefore the Master takes action
by letting things take their course.
He remains as calm
at the end as at the beginning.
He has nothing,
thus has nothing to lose.
What he desires is non-desire;
what he learns is to unlearn.
He simply reminds people
of who they have always been.
He cares about nothing but the Tao.
Thus he can care for all things.
I have just three things to teach:
simplicity, patience, compassion.
These three are your greatest treasures.
Simple in actions and in thoughts,
you return to the source of being.
Patient with both friends and enemies,
you accord with the way things are.
Compassionate toward yourself,
you reconcile all beings in the world.

Nice & meaningful!
Can you ask Buddha to give enough money to every one before asking everyone not to worry?
Save the money won't make you happy crap.
Yes life too short.
Recently for this year alone, 3 of my friends father passed away.
we worry about our future, old age, sickness, no money, etc. basically these are uncertainties. since we aged, fall sick, and will die in old age or diseases, why worry. when the time for you to go, just go and then reincarnate.
I heard that when K Sri Dhammananda, who passed a few years back, was told by his oncologist that he had cancer, he started laughing. his doctor was taken aback by his attitude, as most of his cancer patients, when told that they had cancer, either broke down, worried sick or depressed.
Worrying is but a stage only
do not dwell on it
u got to keep moving to the state u want
we worry about our retirement funds ie CPF, we worried we have enough money to last until we die, we worry if we will be unhealthy in old age, we worried when the stock market goes down, we worried if our children are growing up healthy and their ability to cope with their studies, we worried if our spouse is faithful to us, we worried if the company will retrench us when we are older and how to find a job after retrenchment?
we worried sick with all these things from young to old. there is not a moment when we enjoy a day without worrying about all these things. since its a fact of life there is diseases, sicknesses, death, old age, why worry. will worry improve our present situation?

As long as the money is not spent, the money is not yours because you do not know whether you have the opportunity to spend it.ä¸çŸ¥ä½ æœ‰æ²¡æœ‰å‘½èŠ±ã€‚ Life is so unpredictable.
Instead of adding to your possessions, reduce from your desires. As one of the Venerable said, if you don't have the merits to have so much money, even if someone gives you a bank, the bank will collapse. 命里没有,é€ä½ ä¸€é—´é“¶è¡Œï¼Œé“¶è¡Œéƒ½ä¼šå€’ã€‚Buddha had already taught us the way to accumulate merits, it is just many people who don't believe and don't listen.
i heard if u ask a lot of very rich ppl, most of them are not happy. and they say if they can do it all over again, they rather spend more quality time with a complete family. think most of them don't have a healthy family and they need love, spiritural wealth than material wealth.
in an extreme manner, i think in nowaday big enviroment, one cannot be too poor also. it's hell like. so suffering that there's no time to cultivate.

He should listen to Buddha's teachings. This just shows that money is not the key to happiness, wisdom is the key to happiness.
worry, everybody has worry...part of our life.
need to free from worry, less worry less headache and less stress.
