Just a bit more clarification with regards to Ji Gong temples...
He was Buddhist monk, but somehow he later got incorporated into the Taoist pantheon of deities. Today when speaking of Ji Gong temples, it would likely be with reference to Taoist ones set up for venerating him.

Some Buddhists are vegetarian for 6 days or 10 days a month.
6 days are (according to lunar calendar) 8th, 14th, 15th, 23rd and the last 2 days
10 days are (according to lunar calendar) 1st, 8th, 14th, 15th, 18th, 23rd, 24th, 28th and the last 2 days.
It is ok if you miss some of the days due to some reasons or forgetfulness. Can always replace the next day as long as you did not vow that you must be a vegetarian on those days.
Even Master Chin Kong ate 肉边�. He did not want others to specially prepare vegetarian food for him.

i normally say : if one can even eat rotten food, shit (or metal like è¬å¦‚金山活佛) and let it passes through their intestine, then they can say this stanza, if not don't use the stanza./\Yeah, me too. First time hearing this. The 1st line is more popular than the 2nd line. So misleading.

Yes, it is true that when the temple bell rings, the hell beings are relieved from sufferings temporarily.洪钟åˆ�å�©,å®�å�ˆé«˜å�Ÿã€‚ ä¸Šå½»å¤©å ‚,下通地府.
In fact, any day is a good day to be vegetarian. Not necessarily to be on the 1st, 15th, 6 or 10 days.

the tibetan buddhist temple in Lavendar is formally a æ¿Ÿå…¬ temple.
At present the tibetan buddhist temple has the statue of æ¿Ÿå…¬ on the altar
There are also other taoism stuff in this same temple.

The article above which is from a Venerable said that there is a 2nd line after "酒肉穿腸é�Žï¼Œä½›ç¥–心ä¸ç•™". The 2nd line is "世人若å¸æˆ‘，必定入é”é�“!" Many people ignorantly quoting the 1st phrase to give excuses for not being a vegetarian.
It is ok that you have vegetarian for lunch and not for dinner, it is better than both meals are non vegetarian. In fact, Venerables know that we lay people have difficulties to go on full time vegetarian due to some reasons. So, they advise us to eat less meat. Eating vegetarian for lunch but not dinner is considered commiting less bad karma.能å�ƒä¸€é¡¿æ˜¯ä¸€é¡¿ã€‚åŠ æ²¹å�§ï¼�

erm if got such a Jigong standard, as in è¬å¦‚金山活佛. but Jigong is a myth. è¬å¦‚金山活佛 is real.he will be a 法云地è�©è�¨ or 10th bhumi! mahasattva, not just arahat non junior bodhisattva.
arahat and junior bodhisattva cannot do 酒肉穿腸�. or 屎尿穿腸�. must be 法云地�� and above.
