Mine and her fate started in a pet shop. I was shopping around when a man stomped in and chided the sales girl for selling a immobile rabbit. He then stashed a small box on the counter.I peeped into the box and the first thing i noticed was the rabbits legs was unable to stand. I cried upon seeing her and told myself i wanted to bring her home and care for her. She was about a month old. I could not bring myself to leave her there knowing her next owner might not bring her back to the shop and just throw her in a park or forrested area. Or since she had no sales value, what would the pet shop do to her.. No, i had to get her.
At home then i truly realised how beautiful she was. The next few days are the happiest days.. I pampered her with food and shredded carrots and soft toys, and showered her with kisses and hugs. I even did some therapy for her, holding her front legs while she slowly tried to walk instead of crawling.
Yesterday evening i arrived home to find her not moving..I knew she was gone but just couldnt accept it. I rushed her to the vet in tears and he certified she was gone............................................................................................................
I refused to cremate her so i called my aunt who buries strays to bury her.........
On the journey to her resting place, i talked to her
NiNi, my time with you was short but very beautiful. You may be handicapped but still the most cherished precious sweetheart to mummy. Mummy loves you very very very much ok. Be a good gal now, there is no more suffering for you baby.
As we laid her in her grave, we gave her one last kiss.
Baby mummy misses you very very much.......
My condolences....

Take it easy. It's part of nature.
I really appreciate your love for small animals, especially when it was not perfect in the start of the adoption. Actually, the world needs people like you who is willing to take care of even those with defects. Keep it up. Although it would make you sad all the thing sending these small animals on their last journey... but it would make a very big difference than those who try to refund them because of their defects.
sad to hear that...
but dun worry
ur rabbit will be happily living
at rainbow bridge with its friends..
Why never bring to vet upon receiving it? The way you act like as if you are an rabbit owner. Why not get one through SPCA? Rabbits are so cute when they are curious-imo. Really appreciate your kind act. Bravo...
