Almost 7 years old liao and already got alot of illness.
Last year, doctor diagnosed him with some kind of heart disease that requires medication to prolong his life. Then his nose got some problem also, keep sneezing continously for 5 to 7 times and with muscus as well.
now he can't really see well in the dark and getting deaf as well, call him he wont respond anymore.
just now even more jialat, i was lying down suddenly i heard whimpers, went out and saw him struggling and i switched on the lights and saw him lying on his own urine.
i see like that very heartpain, anyone got experience with this kind of stuffs?
Most people would just put them to sleep cos they feel that it is better that way. To end the suffering rather than prolong it.
dont put to sleep lar. Would you put your parents to sleep if they are suffering? Come on la, i am sure the dog wants to live to its last breath. Bring the dog go walk walk to the beach. Let it have a good view of the sunset and the sea and breathe in fresh air. Then abandon it there. (just kidding)
love him jus as much as you did the first day you brot him home. mayb even more..

it also depends a lot on you. would you rather see him suffer like that? i would put my dog to sleep if i see her struggling like that. heart very pain if i see her suffering everyday. i also believe she doesn't want to let me see her in this condition.
dogs are well known to run away when they know their time is up... they rather you not see them die but there might not be closure on our part so i would prefer putting her to sleep.
It breaks my heart whenever i hear such stories abt ageing pets.
Which is why til now,i haven got a pet.
I will not be able to handle the loss.
:(
i cried when my arowana died when i was 5...
My 1st dog was put to slp too after she was diagnosed with liver problem + old age..I wasnt ard..but it broke my heart to know tat she had to be let go when she was no longer "useful". I blame myself for not knowing how to take care of her then..
I also do not agree on puttin the pet to slp..but it's really heart breakin to see it suffering..We'll jus hav to give it extra extra time & lots and lots of concern during its last days..
Keepin a pet is a huge committment, u dun ignore / abandon it jus bcos it is no longer "fun".
They live to serve.. and serve till death. Thats just how it is. Its an honourable thing.
Just like pet ducks.. in the end.. they repay your gratitude by becoming the peking duck on new years eve.
But the sad ones are those pets, thier life essence taken away in the prime. Unnatural deaths... my pet dogs !!! wuuu wuuu~!
Poor thing... its very sad to put a family member to sleep. Its heart wrenching

bring ur dog to vet. if cannot cure, dun make him suffer anymore.
dogs are honourable creatures. more so than humans. They dont betray u. treat it well. Its passing has already been fixed. Just a matter of time.
just hope that dog can have a longer
life span
Give the best to your dog when it
is kicking and running
