16 year old going Japan alone

Hi peeps
I'm 16 this year currently taking my O levels.
After My O levels I want to go on a vacation in Japan alone
But then I do not know if budget airlines like Jetstar airways would allow me to go on such international flights.
I need some advice. eg. What do I need to provide so that they would allow me to go on the plane and touch down on Japan .
And also if you can.. how much is required to spend 3-4 weeks in Japan.. Going to all the famous and local places

He is not required what. He hasnt served his NS yet and is not going for more than 6 months... Unless the law has changed?

I am not sure if you can leave the country on your own, cos you are 16.

Singapore Airlines

All Nippon Airlines
United Airlines
(Non-direct flights)
Cathay Pacific (Via Hong Kong)
Eva Air (Via Taipei)
China Airlines (Via Taipei)
Air China (Via Beijing)
Jetstar Airways (Via Taipei, doesnt fly to Tokyo)
Accomodation for Japan is about $60 per night at least (budget accomodation).
Without food and drinks accomodation would cost you about SGD $1,800.
Food wise one meal in Japan is about 500 - 800 yen ($7.80 - $12.50).... so X 3 would be $35 a day.... One month of meals will cost you about $1050.
Without travelling and just staying at the hotel, you will incur about $2,850.
Air ticket to Tokyo is about $800 - $1000, since its peak period.
You would probably spend about $60 a day for places of attractions.
$60 X 30 = $1800
Transportation per day would cost you about $8 a day...
$8 X 30 = $240
Air Ticket = $1000
Accomodation = $1800
Food = $1050
Places of Attractions = $1800
Transportation = $240
TOTAL: $5890
Play Safe: $6000 -
exit permits aside, u may ask seveneleven or parnie regarding japan,since they went there either before or recently. First of all TS, did u got ya passport already? if got is it gonna expire in few months time? if so need to extend.

Cos a meal in Japan costs on average $8 - $12....
Hotel costs $60 per person....
Air ticket $1000
Thats why lor....

Japan does not require exit permit btw....
But you need to have 6 months validity passport in order to enter the country....
Regarding you age.... i think u have to check with both Singapore and Japanese embassies.. check this immigration website.... just in case you get deported back to Singapore.... -

I think u are dealing with the problem of travelling alone as a minor more than anything else....
Exit permit required only for any male citizens travelling out of Singapore for more than 6 months.... -

Haha... cut short to 2 weeks! Problem solved.... =)
Or go when you are older lah... 1 person go very scary you know. Japan is a complicated society.... not that safe at night, especially in Tokyo or extreme outskirts.
