Suggestions on where to go for a short getaway?

Hi pple, having a headache here.
Wanna go in a group of 4 for a short 3D 2N getaway. But then "pocket abit tight"....
Any place (except singapore and malaysia) to suggest?.... budget within S$300 or S$350, airfares/ferry/transport and also including hotel.Date most probably in end August or early Sept.
Any place to suggest?

if 350 for a total of 4...means SGD350/4=SGD87.50 per pax...stay at home.
if 350 per pax...and no SG and MY....Take ferry to indonesia lor...but cannot stay resort lar...backpacker's budget hotel.

ya thats true... given the budget of $350/Pax, i can recommend you to go Ho Chi Minh.. cos i just got back from there..

You can do this.
Turn on your computer and go to the internet.
Go to google map.
Search for the destination you want. Can go to most countries, including the streets. Navigate along the streets.
Turn on the air-con and strip naked, if you are going to a cold country and turn the air-con and fans at full blast. Have a taste of winter while walking on their streets.
Cant go to China and North Korea though.
If its $350 per person, you can try going online to search for budget air tickets. They may offer you $300 return air tickets.... to certain destinations.
Probably spend a day or two over there. Indonesia, Vietnam and Phillippines possible.
$100 hotel a night would make it like 2 days hotel for 4 persons.... -
go bintan or batam lar with that budget.

Whats so interesting going to Batam or Bintan with only a few hundred dollars budget?
What can people do there...?
If people can just stay in some budget hotel and do some sightseeing....whats so interesting about that.
Batam and Bintan is nice for the resorts....golf.....beach....jetski.....those kinds of stuff......if you cannot go there, might as well dont go there.
But I wont say you *need* to go there because such things also exist in Singapore.
You might as well spend those money staying in Singapore hotels and resorts. Not bad, sometimes there is a promotion. You can stay in 5-star hotel for 2 nights, or resorts for 2 nights. That is exactly nice for your 350dollars budget.

Jump down from the tallest point at IR, they say ot can take you to another place a good getaway. SOme do it after gambling there. A good getaway after losing money.

go tioman island... very romantic and quiet. the hotels are quite cool. u gotta climb up the ladder to reach the attic whr your bed is. there are alot of activities for you to join too... like fishing...
oh and there's a mini mart that sells alcohol cheaper than changi duty free!! and no limit!!
highly recommended for couples.
