  i m planning for a trip to melbourne or perth. it will be a free n easy slightly budget holiday.

  can i noe how much i need for a 7 days tour for melbourne or perth? i would like to visit places of interest too.

  Melbourne might be more interesting than Perth.

  Depends what you want to do and if the budget includes car hire/accommodation etc?

  Apart from the popular tourist spots like 12 apostles (Great Ocean Road), Little Penguins (Philip Island), The Grampians, Yarra Valley wineries, Dandenong Ranges, Puffing Billy etc, Melbourne has lots of good food as well as nice shops.

  Why not count per day expenses.

  Your air ticks is the biggest chunk of your budget.

  Then is accomodation. Oz$140 budget per day.

  Then is transport to and fro. OZ$100-300 per day.

  Then is food. Oz$10-200 per day.

  Then last is shopping and casino gambling.  Magnets for OZ$5/- and onwards.
