  i personally have went on a short trip with a few forum frens before..

   

  for me, i think there must be a certain level of trust in order for me to go on a trip with anyone...and also.. if u are gg with forumites, most importantly, make sure that they are trustworthy.  It would be a bonus if they have a good sense of direction and know what to look out for, where to find good food and have fun etc..
