Christmas going Batam for tour *just book liao*

Only went there once about 20 yrs back
Should have some places change now

Book the conducted tour to temples, dried food stall, shopping centres
Not going free & easy then got problem moving around -
Finally back from Batam
Really nothing much to see but mostly wooden houses along the road
Their city square shopping centre *to them most high class* is just like our bugis *many shops selling clothes*
Cutural show quite good, man eat fire, eat glass, use teeth tear coconut husk
But ferry home more than 1 hrs *damn sian* -

they have many half completed houses over there...not really a nice sight. also having people living in slums. even the roadside stalls they also copy from each other, sell the same things. -
