  Haven't really visit Ayer Ritam for a long time since the NS Highway bypass it. I will try going there and Pulai waterfall next time.

  Ayer Hitam town now is unlike in the past. It is quiet and now some of the coaches passing NS highway stops there for their passengers to rest and freshen-up. However, it is still famous for its cheap vases and handicrafts. I remember in the past many Singaporeans loved to go to Ayer Hitam for the foods and cheap bargains there. And those MAT MOTOR loved to go there not only because of the bazaar there but the winding roads to Ayer Hitam was a thrill motobike ride for them....it was like a racing track for them.

  If you are going to Tioman on your own and if you are not in a rush to cross over to Tioman, I would suggest that you overnight at Mersing town for a day. There are small hotels for your accomodation and you can go sight seeing in Mersing Town. Nice beaches, delicious food and cheap shopping.

  In 1990 while my reporter and photographer were assigned to cover the story on Pasir Gudang Racing Circuit in JB, I had followed them. So after we had completed our assignment, I requested to the person in charge of that racing circuit whether I could have a go on the racing circuit and experience the thrill personally. My request was approved and so I drove on the Pasir Gudang Racing Circuit with my Toyota Corona 1.6 cc car. Wow! It had looked easy to manoevre your car on the racing circuit but it really that easy like I thought. So many curves and sloping tracks. You really need to have that racing driving skill to drive on that racing circuit. I had a great time and it was very thrilling. The Johor Racing Circuit This 3.86km circuit in Pasir Gudang was developed by the Johor State Economic Development Corporation and promoted by Sports Communications Sdn Bhd in accordance to the standards set by the Federation International Motorcycle (FIM) and Federation Internationale Automobile (FIA). The circuit is built on undulating terrain with 12 challenging corners for the racers to test their skills. Besides that, it also offers excellent viewing for spectators to join in the thrills. The Johor Racing Circuit provides a world-class venue for international racing events. Among the events hosted yearly are the World Superbike, World Endurance, and the Johor Race Series for Cars and Bikes. In 1998, FIM gave an honour to this circuit to host one of the legs of the World Motorcycle Championship. It is one of only two legs being held in Asia.
