From Johor Bahru, drive along the old trunk road to Ayer Hitam for about one and a half hours, you will see a 12.8-hectare scenic wonder park, surrounded by verdant foliage. There are two towering 12 metre traditional kuda kepang, the tallest in the country. The entry fees will cost only RM6 for adults and RM3 for children, with the option of taking one’s car or motorcycle on this stimulating sojourn for an additional RM6 and RM3 respectively.
Inside the park, you’ll venture a picturesque three-acre azure lake bordered by lush greenery, paddle boats and intricate figurines, and with a striking red bridge running across its crystal waters. Visitors can embark on an aqua journey around the lake in the 20 available two-seater paddle boats for RM15 per boat, for a half-an hour spin during weekdays and 20 minutes during weekends.
Next to the lake is a brightly coloured playground, with swings and see-saws sculpted in the form of fruits such as pears, durians, watermelons, mangosteens and other tropical fruits; varied animal forms also dot this section. The playground also consists of toy train, pony ride, magic mirrors chamber and a haunted house that is sure to give kids a thrilling chill. These amusement attractions are priced at RM2 for adults and RM1 for children.
Haven't really visit Ayer Ritam for a long time since the NS Highway bypass it. I will try going there and Pulai waterfall next time.
Enjoy JB!
