Honestly, JB is not a nice place for visit. This few months got a lots of robe issues happens in JB.
I see. I see. I guess in the end its good to enjoy the best of both worlds. Singapore would be a great place to work and earn $ while JB to have good times, relax and chill with your loved ones. Hmmm, i might change my mind on that Cyrushong, 10 -20 yrs ago JB was not as vibrant as now I guess. In addition, the future works of Iskandar Project seems promising and exciting. Having been to Danga Bay in JB, i cannot help but to hope i can buy a house for myself there in the future. Lets hope JB will not become too expensive. However Zulkiflie, i heard that for Sgreans, we can only purchase a house that is worth Rm 500k and above now? My family and I was lucky too, we bought the Orkid View just before they placed the minimum purchase for foreigner to be 500k. The part on citizenship converting is true. Being a Sg citizen certainly has alot of travel privilleges.
Johor Baru robbery
Teacher forced to strip at knifepoint
SHE was alone in her home and had left the door unlocked.
An intruder entered and allegedly threatened the 26-year-old teacher with a knife.
The man threatened to rape and stab her if she screamed, The New Straits Times reported.
The incident happened on Tuesday night at her home in Taman Skudai Baru in Johor Baru, the report said.
The intruder then proceeded to molest the victim before forcing her to undress.
Fearing for her life, she stripped.
The suspect took a smartphone, a laptop and RM150(S$60) before fleeing.
The victim, who did not suffer injuries, lodged a police report.
Johor Baru Utara police chief Assistant Commissioner of Police Ruslan Hassan said the police have launched an operation to nab the suspect.
He told The Star: "Initial investigation revealed that the suspect was believed to have acted alone during the robbery and molest incident."
12 suspects
"We picked up 12 suspects in their 20s to 30s during the operation."
ACP Ruslan said that most of the suspects were detained after they were tested positive for drugs. They had also been carrying prohibited items such as knives.
He urged the public to be vigilant and to contact the nearest police station if they saw suspicious strangers in their area.
Meanwhile, a taxi driver was jailed a total of 22 years and given 10 strokes of the cane after pleading guilty to robbing four women in January, The Star reported.
Rosli Yusoff, 43, however, will serve only six years as the jail sentences will run concurrently.
Rosli and an accomplice, Azizi Jaafar, 36, had been charged with robbing Wan Sharina Ahmad Tewfik Khalidi, 36, of RM2,000 in the accused's taxi in Selangor.

@Zulkiflie- im actually not a huge fan of landed property. even if i were to buy one, I will look at Horizon hills or East Ledang. But the prices are getting very expensive. All above 1 million ringgit. I prefer Condominiums since i am the type of person who enjoy condo facilities. I also heard Malaysian government will likely be increasing from 500k to 750k soon for foreigners. Read from iproperty. I really like Danga Bay, i saw how it is going to look like in the future. Looks impressive. There will be a mall and the condo can access to the mall at level 6. Its called the vision city of the south. Well i hope danga bay will not be abandoned halfway.

I had many times in the 80s, its very relaxing and its like cruising in your car while you enjoy the view. Along the way you can stop at many places without rushing for time. There are many hotels in small towns you can stay for a night. I did that each time I wanted to breakfree from Singapore life.
yes did the east coastal , cross over , west coastal drive , but did it in 2 separate trips. stay in city hotel - cannot small town hotel - if wife not happy , no more malaysia drives :). Did have lots of fun cruising , yeap put in a good CD that it .
