  actually crudely I'll put it this way, ever since distance fare kicks in, those bus - MRT - bus travellers earned it

  You go take look whether those ppl need to pay more than $2 for their entire trip aft a bus - MRT - bus transfer

  Say a student staying at Bedok commuting to NTU.. It used to be some $2+, now it's abt $1.90.

  Those at Pasir Ris could end up get a free ride when they board the bus to NTU.

  wah how these msians survive......pump 50L of petrol already RM130. And their public transport sucks like hell. Fresh uni grad earns RM1000 plus a month.

  Heard that the cost of living also very high. Eanring Myr $2 per month not enough to support a family of 2 kids, wife, house and car.

  still possible. A silly old proton costs a few k of ringgit. A small house cost less than RM50,000. Things are still way cheaper.

  their McD meal costs approx RM10. Then again, those roadside stalls and so on are dirt cheap la. Even shopping centre groceries and makan. Expensive stuff are the cars and petrol.

  Imagine we can buy CQYD at S$2, it cost at least RM6 over there. OSK cost $7 a box here, it's RM23 up there.

  The tariff is imposed to protect their local industries.
