Malaysia worse off than Singapore

  Was talking to a friend from malaysia...

  She said that ignoring the exchange rate, Malaysia is more expensive than Singapore...

  The wages is about the same for her (2k in singapore, 2.3k in Malaysia), but the prices in malaysia is like 1.5 times more...

  What do you guys think?

  For RM100, a group of 4 persons can enjoy a decent seafood dinner.

   

  And their landed properties are like RM200K?  Even cheaper than 3 room flats in singapore.

  It has to depend which state, but I will totally agree with ur friend if they compare it with KL. The cost of living is madness....

  not quite true. ya can get sum decently cheap products in msia as well(contact lens are cheap!)..as 4 da wages..depends la..
