  BRT is basic rescue training whereby they teach you the life saving stuffs like fire fighting, medic stuffs, etc..

  then after that you'll be posted to CDA upon getting your confirmed vocation to learn more in detail of your confirmed vocation.

  let's use my case for example: I was a medic therefore I was at CDA to learn all the medic stuffs taught by the paramedics there then after completion, do 2 final ex (one day & one nite) thereafter 1 or 2 days later posted to stn as a station EAS medic.

  some prefer to be instructor so they stay at CDA but I find that doesn't really suit me which is why I chose to be a station medic whereby at least what I learnt can really apply hands-on unlike those instructors who can't..

  and fire fighting is done during BRT? i thought Firefighting got their own firefigher course?
