Lyon coach Alain Perrin has confirmed a desire to sign Arsenal's Jose Antonio Reyes.The Spaniard recently concluded a season-long loan at Real Madrid and hopes to remain at the Bernabeu on a permanent deal.
However, it is yet unknown whether Real will sign Reyes, leaving the door open for a possible summer move to the French champions.
Reyes' representatives have confirmed the former Sevilla star would consider a move to Lyon and Perrin is keen on his versatility.
Perrin is still in need of another attacker ahead of the new season and believes Reyes would be an ideal addition to his squad.
"I would sign Reyes of course," he told L'Equipe.
"Moreover, he can play in attack or as a midfielder on either flank.
"If I want to play 4-4-2, we miss an attacker.
"It would be interesting if a player of that level joins us."
