Tomas Rosicky believes the lack of new faces in the Arsenal squad will prove to be an advantage next season.
Although Thierry Henry and Jeremie Aliadiere have left the club and Dinamo Zagreb striker Eduardo da Silva has arrived, the vast majority of Arsenal's first-team squad has remained relatively unchanged so far.
And while some critics, including team-mate William Gallas, have suggested Arsene Wenger needs to spend more money to compete for the title, Rosicky believes the lack of change will help the team.
"Of course, I know that Thierry Henry has left the club and that Eduardo has come in," he told his official website.
"Nevertheless, most of the players have remained and it is good news ahead of the new season.
"In the last season, our young team has been trying to reach the same tune. In the new season, we can move a step higher and profit from the previous one."
