Middlesbrough have sealed the signing of Arsenal striker Jeremie Aliadiere, skysports.com understands. The French forward has returned from his summer break and penned a three-year deal at The Riverside, with an option to extend.Aliadiere has undergone and passed all his medical tests and has signed for three years, and becomes the first player to put pen-to-paper for Boro boss Gareth Southgate this pre-season.
Boro agreed Aliadiere's deal earlier in the summer, but they will be pleased to have finalised the deal. They have also already agreed personal terms with Turkish international Tuncay Sanli and they will hope to tie up his move in the coming weeks.
The Teessiders will then turn their attention to bolstering their right-sided options, with both a full-back and wide-man high on Southgate's list of priorities.
