Valencia have joined the race to sign unsettled Arsenal midfielder Mathieu Flamini during the summer.
The Gunners have indicated that they are keen to keep the Frenchman, who found himself out of the first team towards the end of the season and is seeking more regular action.
The former Marseille man revealed last month: "I was left in the stands and it was not easy to understand. I have not started a game since February and I have to think of my career."
Having received a call-up to the France national team earlier this year, the 23-year-old is keen to press his international claims by gaining regular first-team football.
Valencia have been priced out of a move for Ajax midfielder Wesley Sneijder and it's believed they have now targeted Flamini as a close season signing.
Wow,didnt expect a big club like valencia to be interested in him
