Freddie Ljungberg's agent has rejected reports that the player could be leaving Arsenal.
Widespread reports have suggested that Arsenal were willing to offload the Swedish international.
Ljungberg has endured a frustrating season this term as he has missed large chunks of the campaign with a series of niggling injuries.
The Swede's representative Claes Elefalk has moved to clear up the confusion regarding Ljungberg's future, stating he plans to stay at Arsenal.
"I can confirm that it is not true," Elefalk told Sportbladet of the rumours.
"Fredrik's intention is to stay at Arsenal."

Wenger already made an announcement that Ljungberg would be leaving Arsenal for FREE but he still so money face, want 70k pounds a week, who would be so dumb to offer him such a good contract, maybe Chelsea would.

His intention is to stay, but what does Arsene Wenger intend for him? You can't have the captain of an international side always on the bench or maybe not even starting.

The thing is Arsenal don't really need him anymore and Wenger is not known to keep players when they are 30 and above. Ljungberg case is a bit strange for wenger... Here is a player that has given him a lot but has not been doing well over the past 2 yrs... and his salary isn't small too at $70k per week, he is probably the 3rd highest at Arsenal after Henry and Gallas...
Ljungberg has been linked with London rivals Tottenham and West Ham, as well as Portsmouth, Italian giant Juventus and recently Big Sam's Newcastle.
It has been rumoured that the Gunners need to sell players before investing in new recruits and they continue to monitor the progress of Marseille's French international winger Frank Ribery... Selling Reyes alone probably won't be enough...

Ljungberg's 28/29 current deal runs out at the end of next season and speculation has already begun that Arsenal may cash in on the Sweden international this summer to raise transfer funds or risk having him walk away free.
