Looks like will be 5 way transfer between Baptista, Reyes, Etoo, Saviola and Henry.Originally posted by felirox:I'm not sure if Arsene gonna sign any new players..but let us share arsenal's transfer gossip and i've got one.
ARSE IN FOR SAVIOLA
Arsenal and Real Madrid's suits will be seeing a lot of each other this summer. First of all, of course, they'll be trying to hammer out some sort of a deal for Julio Baptista and Jose Reyes, because as far as the Gossip Column can tell, neither team wants either of them.
And secondly, if you believe the Daily Express, because men from both clubs will be hanging around Barcelona this summer, trying to persuade Javier Saviola to join them.
The rather more believable news concerning Arsenal is The Sun's claim that they will receive a bid from Reading for Fabrice Muamba in the near future. Meanwhile, the Royals will have to pay m for Luton defender Leon Barnett.

klose has good aeriel prowess though. gives us variety perhaps?Originally posted by felirox:i prefer saviola than klose. saviola's a quick striker and can burst thru defenders.what abt Malouda? i heard Arsene wanted to sign him too.
But if the collar is green in color..it'll look funny.but if its gold..i think it's nice.Originally posted by ben1xy:i dun quite like it

i wun wan him cos all he can do it cross.. unless he ok with being on bench then still can sign him...Originally posted by ben1xy:Malouda Wants Out Of Lyon 14/05/07
France star Florent Malouda has expressed a desire to leave Lyon after claiming he is being tracked by leading clubs in England and Italy.
The left-winger shot to prominence last summer following his strong displays in France's World Cup campaign, which ended in defeat to Italy in the final.
A number of big European clubs were reportedly interested in the 26-year-old after the finals in Germany, but he stayed at Les Gones for this season and has just collected a fourth league-winner's medal with the club.
It appears he is now ready to leave the Stade Gerland in search of a new experience.
"I am going to make it very clear, I really want to try a fresh challenge," said Malouda, who moved to Lyon from Guingamp in 2003.
"Big clubs abroad, both English and Italian, have made known their interest in me and are preparing to enter negotiations with OL.
"Last summer, after the World Cup, I was already being tracked, but they weren't the same clubs (as they are now).
"I have played the game with Lyon, I haven't asked for a departure clause in my contract, but I am expecting a little in return."
Malouda, who is a regular for Les Bleus under coach Raymond Domenech, has four more years left on his current deal at Lyon.
"I know I have a long contract," he added in French newspaper Le Progres.
"But I might not have the same possibilities next year and OL could make a good financial deal out of it."
France left-back Eric Abidal has already outlined his determination to leave Lyon this summer, while negotiations with goalkeeper Gregory Coupet and captain Juninho over extensions to their contracts are ongoing.

u guys think he will come to us? i think doubt ribery will come, maybe he's a good alternative?
what do you guys reckon?
but isnt that what arsenal really needed? Someone who can cross balls. so far this season i think only walcott and eboue are arsenal good crossers. clichy is not up to standard yet and rosicky and hleb? they hardly cross the ball.Originally posted by BrUtUs:i wun wan him cos all he can do it cross.. unless he ok with being on bench then still can sign him...
but if they cross, i wonder whether they will be anyone in the box. bayo doesn't seem too good in the air despite his height. Henry as we know almost never score from headers (though that has changed slightly in recent times)Originally posted by felirox:but isnt that what arsenal really needed? ARSENE WENGER can get his top transfer summer target on the cheap after it emerged that Ajax winger Ryan Babel has a £6million get-out clause.
The Arsenal boss has been tracking 20-year-old Dutch forward Babel as he seeks to strengthen his squad.
Babel signed a new deal with Ajax only in February but it included a buy-out clause as the idea of a move to the Emirates Stadium appeals to him.
The Gunners know all about the contract clause and will launch a bid soon as Wenger rates Babel as one of Europe's most promising youngsters.
Wenger is planning a major shakeup to try and freshen up his squad after a disappointing season which has seen Arsenal finish without a trophy.
Brazilian star Julio Baptista will return to Real Madrid because they will not lower their £18m asking price while Arsenal will sell Jose Antonio Reyes, who has been on loan to the Spanish giants.
Freddie Ljungberg is also on his way out of the club and Wenger may be ready to listen to offers for both Mathieu Flamini and Philippe Senderos.
But Real are also keen on William Gallas, who has endured an indifferent season.
That leaves Wenger chasing several targets with Babel at the top of his list, especially as Marseille's French winger Franck Ribery seems set to join Real. His £20m asking price is likely to be out of Arsenal's league.
he should be ok. but i want starts!!Originally posted by BrUtUs:hope he is gd n can adapt to gunners style...
this i agree! i prefer Djourou !Originally posted by felirox:ahh shite. he cannot leave arsenal. I think he is MUCH better than big phil!
dun tink wenger will let him leave cos he also quite precious to the squad...... rather they let cygan_v2(senderos) join birmingham...Originally posted by felirox:BIRMINGHAM CITY are set to snap up another of Arsenal's stock of talented youngsters by signing defender Johan Djourou.
The 20-year-old, who played for Switzerland in last summer's World Cup, made 18 Premiership starts last season because of injuries. But he is fourth in line behind Kolo Toure, William Gallas and Phillippe Senderos for a first-team spot.
With Arsene Wenger set for a summer clear-out, Blues boss Steve Bruce is ready to pounce.
He's spent £3.2m on Arsenal starlets Sebastian Larsson and Fabrice Muamba and will have to pay as much again for Djourou.
