Arsene Wenger has handed a boost to Arsenal fans by guaranteeing captain Thierry Henry will not be sold this summer.
The fleet-footed forward has endured a torrid campaign with injuries, but he is still one of the most feared strikers in Europe and is Arsenal's most prized asset.
The Gunners fended off interest from Barcelona last summer, but reports have claimed the Catalan giants will come back with a fresh offer in the close season.
Wenger says talk of Henry leaving is 'imagination' and has vowed to keep the 29-year-old at Emirates Stadium.
"It is more down to imagination than anything else, Thierry Henry will be here next year," Wenger told the club's official website.
Asked whether he could guarantee Henry would remain at the Emirates next season, he added: "Yes, of course."
