Suddenly remembered this ship called Yuan Wang 4.
We passed it near Hosburg Lighthouse. At that time we were overwhelmed by the sheer number of warships we were tracking that the CO and XO came up to the bridge to have a feel of it there.
And then we saw this fucking big ship that looked like your container ship except it was painted grey. Warship alert!
When it got closer, we scanned it and saw some wierd dishes and poles sticking out.
Someone suggested looking under USN for identification. No ID. Someone suggested UK. No ID. India? Nil. Russia? Nil.
Someone suggested China and there it was! Yuan Wang 4!
The bridge laughed because the name suggested "Maligned 4".
Now I reading about it on the net, I should guess it means "See Far 4".

China is flexing its muscles.Anyway right after that big ship passed in front, we saw this black and white ship.....and that called out again: Warship alert!
The next half-hour was spent arguing wtf it was, cos nobody knows of any ship painted like a black and white dog.
Turned out to be a Indian naval destroyer. We found out because we returned to Changi and holy shit! It's that ugly ship we saw in the morning.

That's USNS John Ericcson with RSS Steadfast.My ship was supposed to do this historic mission.
Unfortunately, or fortunately
, our ship encountered difficulties with one engine and the role was passed to Steadfast.But though the ship was Steadfast, it was my ship crew that did the work because we trained hard for it.
Sadly people will still say its Steadfast that did its job.

Got the RCS curtain that can close if we need stealth mah...But its usually closed more for safety reasons.
Edit: Tml we closing it because we scared some brats fall overboard and parents complain.
