firstly, most people don't know about sgforums so don't even say about this particular forum here which is located in sgforums..

Most do at least visit once, but none wanted to create an account.
there are lots of dedicated forums to serve the needs. For those interested in cars, there is mycarforum - lots better than our car forum.
Market place? Mocca. St701, HWZ, Vr zone.
Tech? none other than Cnet (asia), Hwz, Vr zone.

most of people i asked, said sgf is a cappy forum. with not much exciting content
