  The colour of the bands on the bow are the colour of your hair.

  Guess its just for the looks la..like trimmed armour.

  me neither...but i'm not gonna spend 100k on that bow when the maple short bow has better stats.

  The Willow composite bow is a composite bow that can use arrows up to mithril arrows.
  
  They require 20 Ranged to use.
  
  To obtain a willow composite bow the player can either complete a Level 1 Treasure trail or trade with another player.
  
  The willow composite bow cannot be made using the Fletching skill. The colour of the bands on the bow are the colour of your hair. (You can change it by changing your hair colour

  though composite looks cooler and stronger than it's counterparts.
  like willow bow = 20 attck
  composite = 22attack
  
  but it is short of the 29 attack that our mapleshort/long offers.
