Torres swapped Anfield for Stamford Bridge in January in a move that disappointed Reds supporters, who turned on the Spaniard when the clubs met just days later.
But Torres insists there are reasons behind the move that have yet to be made public and also heaped praise on former Liverpool manager Rafael Benitez.
The Blues striker is expecting a barrage of abuse from travelling Kop supporters when the two clubs meet at Stamford Bridge this weekend.
Torres left Anfield in January in a £50million deal after handing in a transfer request in order to force through the switch.
And while he stopped short of explaining why this act does not warrant the anger that followed, the 27-year-old will ignore any grief on Sunday.
He said: "I've no doubt (the abuse) will be a lot worse.
"The Liverpool fans have only paid attention to what the club made them see and they don't know the true story of my transfer to Chelsea.
"That's why I don't hold any grudges — they will always be special to me."
Torres, who has netted just five times for Chelsea, insists the weight of that huge transfer fee is not to blame for his poor goal return in a blue shirt.
He added: "You place the responsibility on yourself, it's something you can't control.
"Also, how much I cost doesn't depend on me, it's the clubs who decide what they are willing to pay and it is they who come to an agreement.
"I have been lucky enough to experience many wonderful situations over the last 10 years, but I am confident the best is yet to come."
then tell the fans
Actually every footballers have their reason for moving on.
There is no need for the fans to know since they have moved on.
Whether they leave a good impression or not, I guess they dun really care when they take a look at their mansion and their supercar at the end of every match.
Liverpool fans have already moved on since Jan 2011.
He is still holding on the past and keep on hecking on it.
Not a good way to impress his new fans.
If you leave a company being accused of something that is not true, no matter how long, you will always feel unfairly treated.
Liverpool fans have not moved on, cos they are treating Torres as though he had commited treason...
I don't think he is holding to the past, maybe just sad that he gave them so much and they are treating him the way they are today... He probable feel just as betrayed like the fans feel of him. Or perhap just disappointed they were not given the truth about the whole event.
