  Paraguayan fans will be keener than ever for their team to land the Copa America after model Larissa Riquelme on Sunday promised to pose nude should they triumph.

  The 26-year-old Paraguayan Internet sensation recently made an announcement that arouse many people's interest.

  The Paraguayans are in Group B with favourites and holders Brazil as well as Ecuador, whom they were facing Sunday, and Venezuela.
  
  And the busty Riquelme gave them extra motivation after making her promise, similar to one she also made during the last World Cup, earning her the sobriquet la 'Novia del Mundial' (World Cup girlfriend) in her homeland.

  "If Paraguay win the Copa America then I shall pose nude on the pitch," she told AFP, gesturing in the direction of the Brigadier General Estanislao Lopez stadium before the Ecuador game.
  
  Argentina has been caught in a polar snap this week with temperatures plunging well below zero Celsius in the middle of the Southern Hemisphere winter.
  
  But Riquelme did her best to bring a warm glow to supporters of Paraguay and Ecuador fans demanding pictures and autographs from the model who eschewed even a coat as she pranced in a sleeveless top in Paraguayan red and white.
  
  "I think we'll do well at the Copa," forecast Riquelme, who intends to follow all her country's matches on the spot. Her fans will doubtless hope she is right.

  This is not the first time that she has promised to strip, she made similar claims at the 2010 World Cup in South Africa, but to no avail with her nation being dumped out by eventual winners Spain in the quarter-finals.

  “If Paraguay win the Copa America then I shall pose nude on the pitch,” The model had said that this is the way to show her support for the team. The model was also to say that does not even have any experience in front of the stage, with permission from the BCCI. The kingfisher model is now the highly-in-demand and one of the most downloaded models on the internet.

  VIOLENCE erupted after Paraguay beat Venezuela 5-3 on penalties in their Copa America semi-final.

  Players and coaching staff could be seen wading in during a mass brawl which flared up as the teams were leaving the pitch.

  One of the big personal confrontations caught on camera saw Venezuela's Nicolas Fedor and Paraguay's No20 Nestor Ortigoza swinging punches wildly at each other.

  The fighting continued for several minutes despite police and stewards doing their best to break up the scuffles.

  Paraguay's Jonathan Santana was sent off in extra-time of the fiesty encounter which ended goalless.

  In the penalty shootout, Venezuela hit the woodwork three times before defender Dario Veron blasted his spot kick past Renny Vega to secure a 5-3 shootout win for Paraguay.

  They now face Uruguay in Sunday's showpiece final in Buenos Aires, their first for 32 years.

  I will be hoping for the underdogs Paraguay to win...

  Paraguay progress to the final without winning a single match yet in this tournament...

  And if they manage to win Uruguay on penalties... I think they may be the first side to win the Copa America despite not winning a single game... lol...
