From Back Page funds to beef up City's squad for a tilt at the title and Champions League.
With a £50million price tag and Tevez's £250,000-a-week wages, that will not be easy.
ROBERTO MANCINI wants Carlos Tevez out of Manchester City as soon as possible.
SunSport revealed yesterday that Tevez is desperate to quit England to stay with his young daughters.
City are now sick of the whole Tevez saga, which began a year ago, and fed-up Mancini will not fight to keep his skipper as he did last December.
Instead, boss Mancini wants the club to find a buyer as quickly as possible and release funds to beef up City's squad for a tilt at the title and Champions League.
With a £50million price tag and Tevez's £250,000-a-week wages, that will not be easy.
But a bid is expected from one or both Milan clubs to take the Argentine striker to Serie A.
Tevez, 27, spoke to City chairman Khaldoon Al Mubarak this week to explain why he wants out, insisting he misses his kids. But Khaldoon did not beg him to stay and the club believe it is all a ploy to get a big-money move.
Tevez has recently been reunited with his partner Vanesa, who is mother to their two daughters Katie, 6, and 18-month-old Florencia.
They spent a lot of time together in Argentina - where the striker is playing in the Copa America - and Tevez cannot bear the family being apart again.
Tevez claims he tried to persuade Vanesa to join him in Manchester so he could see out the final three years of his contract but she refused. He believes she would be happier in Spain or Italy where the family could be together.
Tevez first said he wanted to move last summer, just one season after he quit bitter rivals United to join City.
Meanwhile, City will today confirm the £7m signing of Montenegro centre-back Stefan Savic from Partizan.
Savic, 20, had a medical yesterday and will sign a four-year deal.
