  WILLIAM GALLAS has agreed a new two-year deal at Tottenham.The French defender, 33, has sorted out terms believed to be around £40,000 a week.

  SunSport revealed on February 2 that Spurs had opened talks with the centre-half over a new contract.

  Gallas has been a key player since joining on a free transfer from bitter rivals Arsenal last summer.

  The news will boost boss Harry Redknapp ahead of the Champions League quarter-final clash with Real Madrid.

  Former Gunners skipper Gallas rejected a new deal at the Emirates and opted to sign for Tottenham at the end of August.
