I watch Spain and Barcelona play immaculate possession football, their footballers hardly ever miss pass, its nice to watch and their opponents spent the game chasing for the ball.
Usually possession and passing football is played out by Brazil, but unfortunately they have forgotten or chose not to play this type of sexy football.
Spain and Barcelona are the kings of football at the moment for country and club.
i still say Lazio in their heydays play far more entertaining attacking football, there were also Marseille and Sampdoria.
of cos they never miss passes when they pass backwards and from side to side....it's not easy to keep the ball when opponents presses, so credit to them but passing sideways and backwards for me is not the most entertaining football
they like classic style

precisely, just like Spain in World Cup, mostly sideways passing.
they'll then hope to through pass to Villa.
very boring in fact.
IMHO, spain is playing to their strength, their players are short, technical and pacy. They are playing low risk and advantage football.
in the past, the italian also play this possessive football very well, but they are not attacking minded like the spanish. hence boring.
the english loves to attack, bombing from the wings, but the fact is only in EPL, the teams play like this and they get the ball back fast, but vs the technical teams, they have a problem, chasing shadows most times, and in their haste, commit errors.
the brazilians i do believe are just as technical, but they are getting stronger in their build, and trying to incorporate european style into their plays. This, also because most of their players are playing in the european teams too.
for me, one style of playing won't dominate too long as another style/counter will rise up. As long as Spanish players have the technical skills, they can dominate, but once the quality drops, other teams will rush in and take over.
thats the way to play football, pass backwards and sidesways and diagonal passes.
unlike you play long balls to your strikers to chase, which many a time you are just passing straight to the opponent defenders for them to launch a new attack upfield.
compare england and spain style, spain is more technical than english, whose style is all hustle and bustle, unlike spain, whose style is more technical and skilled.
spain = barca without messi = boring to watch, never scores alot
