Make or break: Clichy
Arsenal will call Gael Clichy in for make-or-break contract talks next month.
Sportsmail revealed earlier this month that the France defender is stalling on a new Gunners deal.
The north London club fear Clichy, 25, will not extend his stay at the Emirates and have already pinpointed Celtic left-back Emilio Izaguirre as a potential replacement.
Clichy is keen to wait until the summer before recommencing talks over fresh terms but the north London club want his future settled before then.
The defender's deal expires at the end of next season when he could leave the club for nothing.
And the Gunners want a definitive answer from Clichy over his future as soon as possible and are aiming to hold further discussions after the international break.
There will be no shortage of takers for Clichy, who is a target for Barcelona, if he decides to quit the Gunners.
