Real Madrid's title hopes suffered a huge blow after they slumped to a 1-0 defeat at the hands of lowly Osasuna at the Reyno de Navarra stadium.

Javier Camunas' goal just after the hour-mark consigned Madrid to only their second league loss of the season, but one that leaves Jose Mourinho's men seven points behind rampant leaders Barcelona.
That gap is also essentially eight points with Madrid having lost 5-0 to Barca at the Nou Camp and needing something approaching a miracle to gain the better head-to-head record when they host the Catalan side in the re-match at the Bernabeu.
Walter Pandiani headed on a long ball to strike partner Carlos Aranda, whose poked pass put Camunas through on the edge of the area and, as the visiting defence appealed in vain for offside, the Madrid-born forward fired his shot in off the inside of the far post.
Real laid siege to the Osasuna goal, but Ronaldo, Benzema and Mesut Ozil all failed to hit the target with efforts. Emmanuel Adebayor couldn't fashion any chances on his debut.
Gaizka Toquero struck his first goals of the season to lead Athletic Bilbao to a potentially vital 2-0 victory over fellow European hopefuls Atletico Madrid, whose miserable start to 2011 shows no sign of abating.
Toquero struck in the 45th and 64th minutes to ensure the penalty miss by star striker Fernando Llorente shortly before the interval did not prove costly at the Vicente Calderon.
That penalty also saw Atletico reduced to 10 men as Luis Perea was shown a straight red card for bringing down Llorente - it was an incident which ultimately proved key as the home side had edged an exciting first half up until that point.
Giuseppe Rossi's stunning goal was enough to give Villarreal an impressive 1-0 victory at in-form Espanyol and rounded off a highly satisfactory week for the American-born forward.
Rossi was linked with a move away from Villarreal earlier this month, but signed a new deal this week to remain at El Madrigal until 2016.
The former Manchester United striker - who turns 24 on Tuesday - declared himself delighted to have the opportunity to stay at a club he calls his "family'' and on this showing, Villarreal will be very happy too.
Rossi raced clear in the penalty area and rifled home a ferocious left-footed drive from a seemingly impossible angle to give the visitors the lead moments before the interval.
