A keeper called Schmeichel and a defender named Bruce will be at the heart of a United side hell-bent on stopping Arsenal winning a major trophy.
Gunners fans thought they had suffered the last of that hell when Peter Schmeichel and Steve Bruce left Manchester United in the 1990s.
But the nightmare has returned for the FA Cup third-round replay at Leeds.
Lining up for the home side at Elland Road will be the Danish keeper's son Kasper, 24, and Bruce's boy Alex, 26, both outstanding in the 1-1 draw at the Emirates 11 days ago.
Schmeichel Snr said: "The two of them were chips off the old block. Alex was throwing himself at everything and must have had the physio on at least three times, just like his dad used to. Kasper kept his defence in line and made saves I would have been proud of.
"It was vintage Schmeichel and Bruce, a great day for the lads to go to Arsenal and get a result like that. They will now get another great experience with the replay. It will test them.
"It will be difficult. Arsenal are a great team. But Leeds showed they can get through."
Peter Schmeichel was speaking at one of 200 Barclays Spaces for Sports sites in the UK created by Barclays and the Football Foundation.
If they really were as good as they're daddy's were they'd be playing for united long time ago
deja Vu did not materialise.
arsenal are through.
If Birmingham released Brunce Jnr and Man City didn't even bother keeping Schmeichel Jnr, says alot on the potential of these 2 right?
