NEW INTER BOSS ... Leonardo
The Brazilian succeeds Rafa Benitez in the San Siro hotseat and should know his way around having played for and managed city rivals AC Milan.
A statement confirmed that the 41-year-old will take up his role officially on Wednesday.
It read: "Welcome to Leonardo. The Brazilian will be our new coach to lead the team from December 29.
"Leonardo has agreed a contract that will keep him at Inter until 30 June 2012.
"We sincerely wish Leonardo the best of luck and believe that he has the class and experience of a champion and that his mentality will bring the team together to get the results we need."
Inter are sat in seventh place in Serie A, 13 points behind his old club who lead the table.
When the Champions League kicks off again in February they face Bayern Munich in the knockout stages.
haiz another wrong appointment from the outset. has he won anything yet? ya he managed AC Milan before for a short while, but doesnt it dawned on Inter that he doesnt have experiences and acument to win trophies.
I believe he is appointed on a short term basis. if he doesnt bring CL to Inter at the very least, he will be sacked.
Inter may not qualify for Champs League next season...........
i'm betting on Leonardo being fired before end of season..........
