Man City firebrand Balotelli: Who is Jack Wilshere?
Manchester City striker Mario Balotelli insists he's never heard of Arsenal starlet Jack Wilshere.
Balotelli finished ahead of Arsenal midfielder Wilshere for the Turin sports newspaper's Golden Boy award, and reckons he was a deserving winner.
He said: "I don't know who Wilshere is but the next time I play against Arsenal I will keep a close eye on him.
"Perhaps I can show him (Wilshere) the Golden Boy trophy and remind him that I won it!"
Manchester City striker Mario Balotelli sees himself as a future Ballon d'Or winner.
Balotelli finished ahead of Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere for the Turin sports newspaper's Golden Boy award, and reckons he was a deserving winner.
The 20-year-old Balotelli, who joined City in the summer from Inter Milan, hopes this award will be the first of many as he targets domestic and European success in 2011.
"My aim is that this prize will, in the near future, transform itself into the Golden Ball Award," he said.
"To have won this award is a good omen to achieve that."
Balotelli has big ambitions for next year.
"All I ask for is two things: to win the Premier League, in order to continue with the tradition I had at Inter of winning three consecutive league titles, and to clinch the Europa League - a trophy that I have not yet won, and a competition where we are considered favourites," said Balotelli.
This fellow is cocky in full of himself. But one thing is for sure: He will win no trophies with City.

Win BPL? Impossible sial unless Man U, Arsenal and Chelsea sell all of star studded players to other clubs.
Europa League? Possible. If they perform well, potential to win it bahx.
OK both are overrated.........it's only becos italy and england have a dearth of young talents that gives them the spotlight...

Erm, but the difference between Chelsea then and City now is the calibre of players bought and the manager hired.
he must have suffered a lot of racial abuse in italy, so he needs to inflate his ego.

it's a new (since 2003) euro young player award
doesn't sound like much, but most of the previous winners turn out to be pretty big
Rafael van der Vaart: 2003 Wayne Rooney: 2004 Lionel Messi: 2005 Cesc Fabregas: 2006 Sergio Aguero: 2007 Anderson: 2008 Alexandre Pato: 2009 Mario Balotelli: 2010

Err... It's that the United's Anderson or another Anderson?
Anyway, personally I find this Mario Balotelli a good player with great potential...
