Chelsea winger Florent Malouda has pointed the finger at the club's shaky defence for their recent problems.
However, the stats show that Chelsea have scored only four goals in their past seven matches and coach Carlo Ancelotti has accepted that a lack of goals has been his side's undoing.
The Italian thinks that the return of Didier Drogba to form and fitness will play a key role in the turnaround and claims the Ivorian striker has been revitalised ahead of the clash against Arsenal - a side against whom he has scored 13 goals in 13 games.
"We need Drogba to come back to the performances he had last year and the goal against Tottenham was very good for his attitude," Ancelotti said. "He has not been in a good condition. He had difficulty to play with malaria and he found it difficult to train.
"I put him in the last few games even though he was not 100% because we need to have his character and his personality. Now his condition is better. He had a good reaction after coming on as a substitute in the last game, this is the important thing. Following the goal against Tottenham he will show us a different Drogba in the next game against Arsenal."
Well, this guy also suffered an amazing dip in form. So he cant point fingers.
it's tactics too, they playing more attacking footie, something has to give...the defence hasn't got the speed and the defensive midfielders are also too high up the line....
