What's with the player name in brackets? Are you saying that Pavlyuchenko is Spurs' key man?

no
Ac Milan is no longer weak. they have strengthed with Robinho and Ibrahimovic this season. Inter has gone backwards with Rafa. But then Rafa CL record is quite good if you notice his record with liverpool, 1 winner, 1 CL finalist and 1 semi finalist.

yeah........those old farts at Milan has a powerful strike force now..........midfield and defence may run out of steam though..........
Wah... Lucky Chelsea, get the best draw again... Somehow they always have the luck of the draw...
And it might not be a bad thing for the Gunners to be drawn against Barce... One outcome could be they surprise the world by beating Barce and gain more respect from fans... Or they go out early and can fully concentrate on going for the premier league while the rest are distracted by the CL.
Personally, I was hoping for United to get as follow... First choice, second choice... etc...
FC Copenhagen
Marseille
AS Roma
Lyon
AC Milan
Internazionale
brudder.........Roma is not as weak as you think leh.................
attack got the effective Borriello.........the deadly Vucinic...........and Adriano.........LOL
midfield got the evergreen Totti.........Menez.........De Rossi.........Julio Baptista.......LOL
defence got...........Juan......Mexes.........Riise.........Burdisso........

The only easy thing is yr slut mom!
No easy teams in the last 16 of the tournament IMO. But I'm please with AC Milan against Spurs, and I'm rooting for Milan to go through the tie. That should bring Spurs back on earth, if not they really think they elite liao.

I don't know what made you say that, but I agree with you that Spurs are still slightly short in quality compared to the real elites. Having said that, they are not too far from that level too. They have good players filling the key positions in the team (Dawson, King, Modric, Bale, and signing of VDV is brilliant). I wouldn't call them world class but they are good enough for this team. A good season for Tottenham would be a decent run in the champions league and more importantly to achieve consistent results in the league and solify their position in the top 4. Being able to match the big guns is good, but winning games against the Stokes and Wigans week in week out is more important. I agree with the chairman that they do not need to sign players in January. They could do with a loan signing as backup to the backline and offload Bentley and Keane at the right price. Having Defoe, Pavlyuchenko and Crouch to fill 2 forward roles is good enough, even though none are scoring regularly this season.
